Patrick Dangerfield slowly opened the door of the van to reveal Issac ‘Norm’ Smith who promptly fell over. Dangerfield also helped captain Joel Selwood off the bus in what could be the skipper’s final Mad Monday as he weighs up his future.

The team slowly made their way into the Wharf Shed in Geelong to continue the celebrations from their incredible 81-point win over Sydney in the grand final where they fielded the oldest team in VFL/AFL history.

Club favourite Sam Moorfoot, who was lifted onto the ground by Joel Selwood during Saturday’s victory lap at the MCG, arrived dressed as Jeremy Cameron, who himself came as a giant chicken.
