Four Arsenal players have Euro 2022 winners medals around their necks this morning. Leah Williamson, Beth Mead, Lotte Wubben-Moy and Nikita Parris were part of the England side who won the tournament on home soil.

Goals from Ella Toone and Arsenal academy graduate Chloe Kelly gave England a 2-1 final win in front of a sold out Wembley Stadium. Leah Williamson captained England to glory, playing every minute of the tournament in the process.

Meanwhile, Arsenal forward Beth Mead won the player of the tournament gong, as well as taking home the Golden Boot having scored six goals at the Championships. Mead was tied with Germany’s Alexandra Popp for goals but her five assists on top meant that she took the prize. Mead’s five assists was the most at the tournament.

Overall, Arsenal’s goal contributions in the tournament looked like this

Beth Mead- 5
Stina Blackstenius- 1
Frida Maanum- 1
