Iga Swiatek has maintained her remarkable winning streak to set up a final with Aryna Sabalenka at the Stuttgart Open.

Poland’s Swiatek stretched her winning run to 22 matches on Saturday as she overcame Russian Liudmila Samsonova 6-7 (4-7) 6-4 7-5 in a tough battle on the clay to move into her fourth final of the season.

Belarusian Sabalenka, who lost last year’s final to Australian Ash Barty who she’s since succeeded as the world No.1, defeated the second-seeded Paula Badosa 7-6 (7-5) 6-4.

Swiatek and Sabalenka have one win against each other, with the Belarusian emerging triumphant at the WTA Finals last year.

Swiatek, though, avenged that loss on her way to winning the Doha title this year.

The Pole has also won at Indian Wells and Miami as she sets out to claim her fourth title of the year in Sunday’s final.
